Thank, Bechem! My favorite class was actually history, but literature was a close second.
This book is very cool. Provides a really cool insider view on a transnational tech mogul--the complex ways that postcolonial histories fuel current passions for new technologies. Interests in these new products are never neutral or purely utilitarian. They say something about who we are, where we are, and what hopes and dreams we have for the world. Studying literature alongside our study of AI will helps us to better reflect on and understand our motives behind particular implementations and applications. Pretty cool, huh?
Yeah... I read in phases. Sometimes all fiction, sometimes all non-fiction. Looks like you have a lot of good non-fiction on your plate. I wouldn't want to disrupt your current reading though. You are making some amazing discoveries.
